This week on the Friday Fashion Blogger Takeover we have the wonderful Joi from In My Joi! Joi is an LA based blogger, she blogs on her social accounts and also on her own blog. You’ll find her saturated in bright colours, draped in vintage, and topped in hats.
How long have you been blogging?
I’ve been blogging for about four years
Who’s your main inspiration?
I see inspiration all around me, there isn’t a sole person and or thing that inspires me. I love to see women of all sizes, shapes, and cultures living out loud, exploring differing interpretations on personal style, and a walk down vintage lane always stirs up my creativity.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Hmm, this is a tough one. I’ve done a bit of traveling, and am in the process of living out my bucket list. If there is one place that I could spontaneously appear tomorrow it would be…Turkey.
What do you enjoy most about being a blogger?
There are a number of things that I truly appreciate about blogging my personal style. At the top of the list is the joy I experience in connecting with women from all over the world.
Do you face any challenges with being a plus size blogger, if so how do you overcome them?
There are challenges with blogging, as with anything else in this life, but I try to focus on my own authenticity and building a community.
What advice would you give to someone who’s just starting out as a plus size blogger?
Have fun! Step outside of your style norms! Share pieces of yourself! And remember: there is only one YOU!
What do you love most about your body?
My favourite physical attribute is my skin color. 
Do you blog full time or just as a hobby?
Blogging is a very enjoyable hobby.
