Recently, I had the utter pleasure of spending some time at the Yours Clothing Cardiff store and I really could not have felt more welcome! The wonderful staff were so attentive and friendly (without being overbearing), offering their help and advice if I needed it and even taking items to the changing room for me so I was able to continue looking without having my arms full! Something else fabulous I noticed about the store was the temperature! When I am shopping there is nothing I struggle with more than a boiling hot store but Yours Cardiff had their air con set perfectly, making both the shop floor and the changing rooms a pleasure to be in.
The store was full to the brim with gorgeous gorgeous pieces, it was so difficult to decide what I wanted to try on – I honestly could have spent hours in there! But I did narrow it down in the end, beginning with this perfectly summery outfit;
This skirt was so comfortable and breezy, it was amazing! Usually I steer away from the more neon end of the colour spectrum but the pattern and colouring of this skirt grabbed my attention instantly. The elasticated waist meant it was super easy to wear, sitting comfortably at my waist without restricting and the pockets are a lovely, handy extra! I teamed it with a plain, sheer black blouse that I upsized on to allow it to fall more freely and off the shoulder – creating the perfect boho beach look.
If you had said to me two years ago you’d said to me I would be actively selecting to try on a playsuit, I would have questioned your knowledge of me, but today I didn’t think twice about grabbing this gorgeous suit off the rack and slipping it on!
Everything about this playsuit was perfect. The material, the print, the fit – everything! I felt so comfortable in it and could see myself wearing it without a second thought. I also love the style of the neckline – its verging on halter-esque and I think it’s so flattering whether you are larger or smaller chested!
Sometimes we all need a more casual outfit for walking the dog or heading to the supermarket right? So I tried on this fabulous black and blue tribal sleeveless shirt with extreme dipped hem and teamed it with a gorgeous black PU biker jacket with side zip and stitch detail;
I loved the back detailing of this shirt and the extreme dipped hem added a something a little extra – making it more than just a casual shirt! The PU jacket is flawless and perfect for our unpredictable summer weather as it isn’t too heavy but would keep you nice and dry if you were to get caught in a surprise shower!
From reading my blog, ya’ll know I am an avid dress wearer so the amount of beautiful dresses available in the store truly was my idea of heaven. So I selected a couple of my favourites to try on;
Polka dot sleeveless crepe skater dress – £30, Black and white panelled skater dress with mesh insert - £35, Neon floral off the shoulder skater dress with mesh insert – £35
I loved all three of these dresses but as soon as I slipped on the Neon floral off the shoulder skater dress with mesh insert from the Limited Collection I fell madly in love. The cut of the shoulders and neckline is so unusual and the mesh panel around the bottom of the skirt is bang on trend.
The wonderful staff at Yours gifted me one item of my choice during my time in the store and this was the item I chose! As I said earlier I am not usually one to go for neon colours but everything about this dress is divine and I am so thankful to Yours for gifting it to me.
I could not recommend the Yours Cardiff Store enough if I tried. The staff are lovely, the shop is a wonderful temperature to make shopping comfortable and the changing rooms are gorgeously decorated and spacious enough to allow for the extra junk in my trunk! Thank you Yours Cardiff for being wonderful!
